In-Depth Application Procedures

Our trained and experienced interviewers meet personally with each applicant. We require detailed interviewer reports, profiles, criminal background checks, health forms and current references. We go to great lengths to present you with an accurate picture of each applicant's personal background, skills, certifications, experience and suitability.

Our relationships with universities, colleges, clubs and other worldwide staffing sources are as strong and solid as our name. Whatever your needs may be, we’ll find the right applicants to fill them. In 2009, 96% of Camp Directors rated their Camp America staff service as good or excellent.

Applicants are highly skilled in camp activity areas, speak English and have experience with children. We can provide applicants for every camp activity area, from specialists and general counselors to certified lifeguards and WSI's. Our Campower program will help you fill all your support staff positions, from kitchen and maintenance to laundry and office areas. Our applicants are all carefully screened by trained interviewers and oriented by camp professionals to prepare them for their summer commitment. All our applicants are:

• contracted for nine weeks at camp (although it is possible to have staff longer)
• 18 years or older
• fluent in English
• prepared for the program to which they are applying
